Irit Chapnick

Irit Chapnick is the creator of the website discoverythroughgrief.com. Located in San Antonio, Texas, Irit has dedicated her work in grief coaching to her son, Jonathan Sacks, who took his life on 12/28/2020 during the Covid Epidemic.

She has studied with Dr. Edith Eger and Chris Duncan and received a coaching certificate in Magnetic Mind Conscious Education. She is currently studying with David Kessler in the Grief Education Certificate program.

Although military families and survivors of suicide was the direction her work first took, Irit has broadened her approach to include loss of a marriage or relationship; loss of a beloved pet; or loss of the dream job you. She is supported on her website by a variety of coaches and creators and believes that movement and creation are essential to coming to terms with grief!

In her latest role, Irit has become a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for Bexar County, Texas.
