With Steve Rolston! This week Ian and Dave are at Vancouver’s premier artsy comic books boutique show VanCAF where they interviewed the fantastic cartoonist Steve Rolston, Eisner-winning artist on Ghost Projekt, Pounded, Emiko Superstar and Queen and Country. When you have two Eisner-winning cartoonists on an episode of course the first thing you talk about is Madballs! They also talk to Steve about his career plus the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles get a mention; Dave makes his usual old-timey references; they talk about being ret-conned; lose the audience; mention ballwashers; reveal mysterious award ceremony buffets; Ian steals a joke; bemoan the lack of comics set in Vancouver; and finally, steel balls.
