Sneaky Dragon Episode 278

Ciao, Sneakers! Welcome to Episode 278 of Sneaky Dragon. This week on the show, Ian and Dave are feeling sleepy; put up with rebellious dogs; pump up their ratings with a little laundry talk; have good bad neighbours; experience punch-drunk love; play their personas; have trouble putting the genie back in the bottle; wonder about leprechauns and gremlins; go deep on the topic of bugs bunny; make ado about the Marx Brothers; ponder a new sidecast; invent some family language; show complete mastery; ruminate on their own podcast; show sincerity; see an okay band; get sentimental; feel the sugar fast and the furious; and, finally, make a visit to Bucksville. Thanks for listening. Don’t forget about our two ongoing contests: * Have some dinner with Ian and Dave, and, if you want, watch Sneaky Dragon being recorded. All you have to do is send us a little message that says, “I’d like to eat with you!” and Ian and Dave will treat you to an after-show meal at their favourite White Spot. * Send us your story of a missed opportunity. Please record a two to three minute story and send it to us via email (sneakyd@sneakydragon.com) or Facebook page. Or Skype Sneaky Dragon and leave a message on our voicemail. David will add a playlist for your story as well. Yes, the Oirish did not differentiate between leprechauns and little people: Speaking of the Oirish: That classic Bugs Bunny cartoon: Dept. of Corections: Dave was slightly off on his gremlins timeline. According to Wikipedia, gremlins were invented as a reason for mysterious airplane-related mishaps by servicemen in the Royal Air Force in the 1920s. The Walt Disney gremlin film, based on a story by Roald Dahl, was never actually produced, but its publicity led to Robert Clampett’s Bugs Bunny cartoon.
