The Fansplainers – Hope

Hello, movie maniacs!

This week Mary and David experience Hope for the first time!

Yes, this week they take a look at Korean director Na Hong-jin’s first film in ten years, the sci-fi action thriller monster movie Hope.

A small town near the border of Korea’s DMZ finds itself under attack from a mysterious monster. The police chief and his deputy began to unravel a mystery of otherworldly proportions.

It’s rare when Mary and Dave disagree on a movie, but while Dave thought the movie was exciting and fun, Mary had some reservations.

Not sure what to make of this multi-genre eye-popper of a film? Let David and Mary fansplain it for you!

Thanks for listening.
