#124 Functional Medicine and Energy Healing with Dr Lara May

In this podcast interview, I spend time with Dr. Lara May. She is an Advanced Practice Clinical Pharmacist, Functional Medicine Health Coach, and Master Attuned Intuitive Healer & Teacher, specializing in getting to the root cause of disease via functional medicine & energy medicine.

After working in emergency rooms and adult acute care for over a decade, Lara transitioned into integrative health. Due to her struggle with her own health, she started studying & practicing Usui & Angelic reiki in 2014, then functional medicine health coaching in 2017. Lara’s passion & mission is to empower patients to take an active role in their health, so that they can create their health on their terms.

My podcasts target left-brained types like me, whose rigid view of life restricts us from considering things outside the tightly organized spiritual paradigm we either grew up with or built for ourselves. Follow my podcasts to discuss serious topics like grief, human suffering, prayer, religion, and spiritual practices. I also cover things that I used to consider craziness or “woo-woo” such as: meditation, manifestation, spiritualism, spiritual awakening, reincarnation, past-life regression, the channeling of spirits and aliens (seriously…), soul groups, astrology, and even Chinese fortune cookies!
