But when we examine the Civil War history of Mosby’s Rangers, local records, and the mystery surrounding these Union soldier graves, the story raises more questions than answers.
In this episode, we investigate the Mount Zion cemetery mystery using both history and experiment. I tested dowsing rods at the Civil War cemetery and compared the results with ground-penetrating radar, asking a simple question: Can dowsing rods detect Civil War graves, and how do the results compare to modern technology?
