Dr. Nathaniel Jeanson: Turning the Tide in the Origins Debate

Mary welcomes back the brilliant Nathaniel Jeanson, someone who has taken the origins debate and placed it ahead of the pack. In his forthcoming book, “A New Way to Win”, he outlines the definitive worldview battle based on the state of America since the Scopes Monkey Trial of 1925. At that time, it was illegal to teach evolution in the schools, specifically in Tennessee. John Scopes ultimately lost for teaching evolution, and fined $100. But what we have lost since then is immeasurable, as the legal tactic of the defense, headed by Clarence Darrow, was one of dismantling what he considered the foolish religion of Christianity. As a result, how the case was argued has had ramifications till today. We talk about lawyers vs. detectives, cold cases in the creation debate (are there any?); Darwin’s finches getting new life, and DNA. Dr. Jeanson’s 26-part YouTube series on “A New History of the Human Race” is a must for history and genealogical geeks. A fascinating hour with a researcher’s researcher and a gift to the church.
