A Nation of “Victims”

America is a land where human freedom has reached heights never before imagined by man. People who are willing to work hard are capable of economic success and a life of prosperity. But we have become a nation of "whiners", constantly complaining and lately it seems everyone is a "victim" of life and its circumstances. Today we look at a provocative article by Linda Harvey that talks about the growth of "victim-hood" in America. Who are the real victims and who are the whiners? But to kick things off this morning, we check in with Carl Kerby, a Christian apologist and Creationist, to discuss why so many youth are turning their backs on church and the Christian faith. Carl shares the importance of critical thinking, reason, and using logic along with the truth of Scripture to back up the evidence for God and creation. Too many people today will argue against God and the Bible having very little to back up their claims and worldview. It is important that we know how to respond to them and point them to Christ.
