Trusting God in Difficult Times

We all go through times of great challenges and difficulties. We live in a world that is fallen due to sin, and we as Christians are not immune to the difficulties of living in a sinful world. But God cannot lie and He has given us promises that he will never abandon us as His children. When we face tough times do we lean on God or our own flawed human understanding?
