We know the Word of God is absolute truth. But these days some are using verses out of context to deliver a message that differs or sometimes even contradicts the meaning of the scriptures. Other sermons might feature a Bible verse or two in a cameo appearance, but the truth can become lost in a sea of personal stories, allegory or meaningless chatter. Pastor Gary Gilley of Southern View Chapel joins us to discuss the signs serious Christians should watch out for when listening to a sermon. How can we tell if Scripture is being minimized or watered-down? How do we know if we are truly growing in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ? (2 Peter 3:18) We also take a look at the movement of "Progressive Internationalism" being pushed by the United Nations and other world leaders.
