Islam: A Religion or Political System?

America’s history of religious freedom according to the U.S. Constitution leaves many Christians confused. How should we perceive Islam as well as the various levels of commitment Muslims seem to have. Some are moderate and yet others believe the radical teachings of Muhammad. Others are embarrassed by the extremists and terrorists, but do not speak up and denounce their actions. How do we process all the different angles in this discussion? What is the correct balance Christians should have in our relationship with Muslims? How do we acknowledge the violent teachings in the Quran as reality, yet look at Muslims as lost people with whom we need to speak the truth in love? The gospel must still be preached and our mission and purpose does not change from day to day. Share the truth of the gospel and, by our actions and words, point people to the Lord Jesus Christ. We are blessed again to have in town and in studio today, Elijah Abraham, a former Muslim, who understands it fully.
