Thursday evening, the United States launched a devastating attack on a Syrian Air Force base, from which a chemical weapons attack against its own people was based two days earlier. The world is once again on edge since Syria is allied with Russia, and many are wondering if this attack will escalate into regional war pitting two nuclear superpowers against one another.
