Assaults on Religious Liberty and Free Speech

Europe and the Middle East have been ravaged by Islamic terrorism with attacks coming on almost a daily basis. All the while citizens exclaim, "What can the government do about it?" In Europe, under pressure from governments, social media organizations like Google, Facebook, Microsoft and Twitter are sponsoring a forum to "purge terrorists from their pages, videos and posts." On the surface this might seem like a viable plan, but perhaps first we should learn what their definition of "terrorist" is, because some consider so-called hate speech to be terrorism. Those same people consider the teachings of God's Word as hate speech. Joining us this morning to discuss the attack on religious liberty and freedom of speech is Brad Dacus of Pacific Justice Institute, an organization dedicated to protecting religious liberties for Christians.
