We know that the Church - with Christ at the head - is a place for repentant sinners who are being sanctified by the Holy Spirit, where we gather to be equipped, to break bread in fellowship, to love and serve one another and to grow in our faith. The biblical model set up by Christ and carried out from the Acts of the Apostles and throughout the rest of the New Testament shows us what the Church is for, and for whom: His sheep. But two thousand years later in Post-Modern times, we've changed that model to include sheep and goats together. And in many ways we've been guilted into throwing out this wide net so as not to hurt the feelings of the goats. Just yesterday, megachurch leader Brian Houston finally had to come out and announce his position on homosexuals in the church, saying "If you are gay, are you welcome at Hillsong Church. You are welcome to attend, worship with us, and participate as a congregation member with the assurance that you are personally included and accepted within our community." Except in leadership roles. We're going to discuss his statement later in the program. Our first segment guest is Colin Gunn, here to talk with us about something many presidential candidates are promising to abolish: Obamacare.
