Today's guest is author, Laura Perry, a courageous young woman who wants to encourage others to avoid making the same mistakes she did leading to a very painful path to "transition." Laura admits she created a god in her own image - the opposite sex. She grew up in a Christian home, too legalistic perhaps, but always wanted to be a boy. She decided to eventually have the hormone treatments, surgeries and lived the lie she convinced herself was true. She legally changed her name and people once knew her as "Jake."
