Don Witt of The Channel Daily News speaks with Kiva Allgood, VP of Business Development with Qualcomm, about their installation of IoT on premise in commercial facilities to provide the information needed to accurately allocate convention center for costs, for example, to trade/entertainment show customers. Both have different requirements and can now be billed based on actual usage of utilities, internet, facilities and more. Qualcomm has installed the technology internally to Alpha test the solutions. Kiva goes on to discuss announcements with GE where they will be implementing their current technology on the Qualcomm campus.
