Podcast: Samsung aggressively moving forward with 5G deployments and testing

While at Mobile World Congress a few weeks back, I had the opportunity to speak with Derek Johnston, Head of Marketing, Networks Division, Samsung Electronics.  During the meeting, Derek conveyed to me, Don Witt of The Channel Daily News, a TR publication, a great deal about their current activities in 3G, 4G and 5G. Communications is changing at light speed and Samsung is one of the leading companies delivering the change. Samsung is working on Cellular with Fixed Wireless access running trials with AT&T and Verizon. They are also running 5G trials with Charter – the second largest cable company. At the MWC show, they had 5G connections between Washington DC and the San Francisco Samsung and Verizon booths. If you are looking to upgrade your network, you will need to contact Samsung to see what they have to offer.  I am sure you will be impressed with their cellular infrastructure and wireless enterprise. Samsung markets to carriers and large enterprise customers globally. For over 70 years, Samsung has been dedicated to making a better world through diverse businesses that today span advanced technology, semiconductors, skyscraper and plant construction, petrochemicals, fashion, medicine, finance, hotels, and more. Their flagship company, Samsung Electronics, leads the global market in high-tech electronics manufacturing and digital media. Through innovative, reliable products and services, talented people, a responsible approach to business, global citizenship, and collaboration with their partners and customers, Samsung is taking the world in imaginative new directions.
