Data erasure leader, Blancco, goes carbon neutral, Podcast

We embarked on a journey to become carbon neutral about six months ago,” says Adam Moloney, CFO of Blancco. Recently, Blancco formally announced it had achieved carbon neutral status for 2021. In line with PAS 2060, the globally accepted standard for carbon neutrality, Blancco has offset its entire 2021 carbon footprint through investment in two renewable wind energy projects in India, which will generate clean, low carbon renewable electricity. Blancco sets industry standards in data erasure and mobile lifecycle solutions. In this podcast we discuss Blancco’s carbon neutral milestone. “This is not an annual project for us,” adds Moloney.

The announcement comes on the heels of recent industry recognitions garnered by Blancco for its role in helping enterprises reduce e-waste through advanced data sanitization practices, thereby reducing physical destruction of IT assets for security purposes. Blancco was recently named “Sustainability Innovator of the Year” in the MSP Innovation Awards, and “Most Sustainable Service” in the SEAL Business Awards. This podcast covers:
