Airspan Mimosa 6-series holds the promise of delivering services to rural customers at affordable prices, Podcast

“Everyone wants a gig service,” says Gregg Tome, Senior Director of Sales at Airspan Networks. Recorded at the recent CCA event in Portland, this podcast explores some breakthrough radio products from Airspan and Mimosa by Airspan. The Airspan Mimosa 6-series fixed wireless access (FWA) solution using new 160 MHz wide channels, will become available with the 6 GHz band, demonstrating up to 1.84 Gbps aggregate speed to subscribers. The Airspan A6 is the highest performing outdoor fixed wireless access point for the 6 GHz band with up to 7 Gbps total capacity and provides critical high antenna performance for extended range and coverage. Tome points out some major opportunities connected to the breakthrough product line. Federal money to build faster network service for rural customer requires faster speeds, which the new radio achieves.
