Alicia Luma joined us for our March 2015 show. (Post-show selfie)
Alicia Luma took the stage with a story about how time and love can turn a story about bitter betrayal into comedy. Alicia joined us for our March 15 storytelling night. “Loyalties” was the word for the night, and “Lovesong,” by The Cure, was the song.
Alicia helps get events noticed and writes for AltDaily.com, which is where we snagged the rest of her bio: “Alicia Luma is a native Norfolkian who has traveled everywhere else and decided she likes it here just fine. When not managing the Hampton Roads Market for Recycling Perks, catering for Sweetwater Cuisine or dispensing comic books at Local Heroes, she spends her time trying to civilize her three wild offspring, involving herself in community art projects, reading everything she can get her hands on and wishing she was Batman.”
