5.14 Petra, Jazer, Kenath

This episode continues the deep dive into the things uncovered in the summaries of the Book of Numbers, again focusing on several geographic places uncovered in the text. This week, I cover the legendary city of Petra, with its iconic Treasury building. But, it wasn’t really the site of the treasury, and instead a mausoleum to a Nabataean King. And, of course, since I’m covering Petra, I also give an overview of the Nabataeans. I also review what’s known about Jazer and Kenath, both mentioned in Numbers.
