Proverbs chapter 3 instructs us to not lean on our own understanding, but to trust in God with all our hearts. Jesus taught this truth also, in many ways, while He was on earth. This is a struggle for us in our earthly "mind-based" existence. But God's desire is that we not require understanding of all that God does, but rather that we trust Him and obey Him - even if we DON'T understand Him.
