Tuesday of the Twenty-third Week in Ordinary Time

It should not be surprising that before he selected the twelve apostles, Jesus sought his Father’s will in an all-night vigil on a mountaintop.  There is clarity in nature; an orderliness and a common goal.  Feeling small under a blanket of stars is nature’s way of reminding us that God is control, we are not.
