Segment 2 - John Mozeliak 3.4.15

#WeenWednesday, Cardinals GM John Mozeliak joins the show, not familiar with the work of Plow Boy, the "Tim McKernan picnic table" named by Mo, should not bother Mr. DeWitt about getting some kind of plaque, beginning work with new scouts at the complex today, do not necessarily want to enter scouting program with aspirations to be a general manager one day, wanting to know the Cardinals' secret to success like the recipe to Coca Cola, the program is new since there's been a lot of turnover in the front office, interesting story about Assistant GM Michael Girsch, get a lot of proposals plus ideas from folks, lot like sports radio (but with an encoder...), dealing with billions in the modern era as opposed to only millions when Mo first got into the business, his first job with the Colorado Rockies, everything now proprietary including software, using systems like IBM twenty years ago, sort of their "secret sauce", criticism about the organization perhaps taking a step back in minor league talent compared to recent years, most interesting aspect to Spring Training for him has been watching Jaime Garcia, figuring out the final pieces such as bench or starting rotation, setting smart plans with pitchers during Spring Training, lot of respect for the station, addressing all the rumors during the off-season, confidence in the current roster, just easy not to respond to rumors such as Cole Hamels, the organization does not really enjoy the success too much, thinking about what's next during the celebration of the 2011 World Series Championship, we always see Mo looking cool and calm when on TV during a game, support those sponsors, number of computer whiz personnel in the organization, interesting comments from Mo about Jaime Garcia when the left-handed was barely mentioned a couple months ago, The Cat got killed on Twitter for mentioning Garcia, has been a popular topic, result might wind up being the same yet interesting to wait and see.
