Segment 1 - Show Open 3.31.15

Hello again, coverage in Chicago next week for Cardinals as well as Blues, concern about our 'Note', Doug breaks down the Blues' 4-1 loss to the Canucks, concern with injury to Vladimir Tarasenko, not as much concern with injury to Alexander Steen, do not believe Blues will be able to go far in postseason without their two of their top forwards, captain's log, Charlie with a new fancy mug this morning, Doug feels that he's never personally purchased a mug, pronuncing 'aunt', send pretend 'Aunt Tessie' down the road because the Vaughn house does not have coffee, Doug cannot drink coffee, compares the drink to hot paint, can look smart sipping coffee, Charlie with some coffee-sipping sounds, Doug likes some hot cocoa, Plow Boy suggests adding cinamon to hot chocolate, traffic issues at DeBaliviere causing Charlie plus Doug to take scenic route to station, Doug would like someone to get to work, Plow Boy taking pic of his two different socks, should not matter since Plow Boy essentially wears slippers, Charlie wears flip-flops, might have to run (since we're in the city)..., could use the flip-flop as a defensive tool, another terrible shooting involving parents plus 9-year-old girl at LaSalle Park, things with crime in the area already out of hand, cannot feel safe walking around the city, agreement/disagreement about what can be done, idea of more police presence might provide security yet will make our neighborhoods look like an occupied country, shifting to Scientology, all about the $$, once you're in the club..., they want to control you, rightsholder scientology..., we all have a fear of the unknown, just need some Michigan J. Frog, need four pillars like Steve Spagnuolo had with his Rams teams, Doug running for political office, no self-confidence, Charlie and The Cat think Doug would win, very easy to compare our city to Detroit, policing the hot spots, finding out that Carlos Martinez will be the Cardinals fifth starting pitcher, projecting some numbers for that starting rotation, always seem to get a good amount of wins from Lance Lynn, coming up with some big numbers, no ball club can obviously succeed without their top pitchers, lack of concern for Adam Wainwright, still curious about Michael Wacha, still do not know much about the stress reaction injury, putting Jaime Garcia on the 15-day disabled list, looking forward at what the Birds may do with starting rotation in the near or long future, picking up the options on Garcia after this season, support the sponsors, top-shelf fries over at Monty's, that Randal Grichuk was a steal..., like the Kevin Shattenkirk in the ol' Erik Johnson trade for the Blues..., might start calling Grichuk 'the piece', wondering if he could have higher ceiling than Jason Heyward, Cards certainly like the young outfielder, adding muscle, Doug's added muscle, Spring Training bodies, difference/similarities between pedigree of Grichuk plus Heyward, no way Birds would send Grichuk back to AAA (to start the season), Cubs don't feel the same way about keeping young promising players on the opening day roster, Charlie does not feel bad for Kris Bryant or Scott Boras & system is broke.
