Segment 2 - Joe Strauss, Brian Haenchen & Mr. Smith 4.3.15

Ready for the 2015 MLB season, slow construction at Wrigley Field, that jumbotron ready to roll, Chicago weather slowing the process that was already scheduled to take years, hang with us at Llywelyn's for the home opener, Joe Strauss of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch joins the show, writers including Buster Olney plus Nick Cafardo (along with others) bullish on the Pirates this season when making preseason picks, could see some issues popping up for the Cardinals especially at the plate, cannot average 3.8 runs then expect to win as much as they did in 2014, some things that need to be seen from the lineup, Redbirds were quite fortunate to win the NL Central last season, need to see more consistency (especially from offense) to win again, Joe does not believe the Cards can be successful by relying too much on the pitching, looking back at the piece Joe wrote about the Blues the other day, odd to see St. Louis athlete to go off reservation with comments, not the first time we've seen divide between dressing room and coach (Ken Hitchcock), curious how front office reacts or interacts with these situations, almost need to see Blues get out of the second round the maybe avoid any kind of shakeup, franchise desperately needs the revenue achieved in the postseason, comparing the Blues to the rest of the Western Conference, certinaly consider Hitch to be one of the more respected coaches in the league, hearing Dan Dierdorf's comments on Rams stadium situation, Joe still believes Kroenke is all for moving to Los Angeles, belief that Kroenke would have to divorce himself from the franchise, Dierdorf quite skeptical about the Raiders moving to STL if Rams leave, always been move by local task force to keep NFL (not Rams), liking Kentucky plus Michigan State to advance to the National Championship, belief there is too much credit given to Wisconson plus Duke, has been liking 'Sparty' for a while, Joe's alma mater VCU losing Shaka Smart to Texas, sad day in Richmond..., kind of saw Shaka moving sooner than later after years of success, anticipation for the opener this weekend, Brian Haenchen of InsideSTL joins the show, difference between him and Ponder..., his analysis of the Blues win that seemed like one they would usually lose, big night from Jake Allen between the pipes, there's the gong..., we find that offensive..., Brian enjoying Doug's journalism about the meaning of 'day-to-day', we welcome more of Brian vs Ponder, more man love innuendos, that darn gong again..., Mr. Smith calls, not familiar with Jimmy 'the bull', not sure about his credentials, Mr. Smith with some cuckold adivce for Plow Boy, apparently it's Easter break for the swingers community, had get together in South County last weekend, his group known as the 'Jets', thoughts on the new show "Neighbors with Benefits" & some drama on that show.
