Segment 2 - Mizzou Rocks, Derrick Goold & "Spaniels" 5.28.15

Nice calls from Dan McLaughlin on the dramatic win, Charlie waking up late, if he's been doing this all his life, have to leave earlier Charlie, nice visit from Chris who brought donuts for Charlie's birthday, gives pen to Doug too, gentleman works in the pest control business, Doug got his siutation under control, The Cat might need some pest help, John the Mizzou Rock Guy calls, more about the rocks, possibly radioactive..., not going to break that one down..., Charlie notices that Doug complains every morning, only complaints instead of doing something is Doug's style, picturing Doug as the little league coach, things that Doug would yell at the kids, back to some real baseball talk, good approaches at the plate, working the count or being aggressive, Kolten Wong going deep on first pitch last night, ball clubs being aggressive with Clayton Kershaw early in at-bats this season has been struggle for him, nice work by Matt Holliday sets Cardinals record for on-base streak in 43 straight games to begin season, Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch joins the show, the streak accomplished by Holliday, other players that have done similar things in a season, could consider Holliday for HOF with some more work, certainly has great career numbers, wondering what the Cardinals may do long-term with first base after losing Matt Adams, Derrick possibly being attacked by some kind of small dog, Doug really concerned about his safety, "it's a spaniel!!!", need to give Mark Reynolds weeks to make sure he can take on the work load, Reynolds certainly has proven career power numbers, start for the Birds certainly gave them head start plus some time to get things right if need be, no day off for Derrick, paper prints everyday plus online work too, back to the spaniel discussion, giving Doug trouble about burying a spaniel or something, Doug calling out the breeds of his dogs will be hobby for him once he's a geezer, more canine discussion, Steve in Wildwood calls, prattling about Adams being on the DL, too many left-handed hitters, would've like more variety in the lineup, did not see Matheny sitting Adams anytime soon, lot of background noise, working the real estate biz, telling Doug not to complain so much..., Doug now a bit sideways with Steve..., fans being fickle, see a lot of "prisoner of the moment" with pitching this season, now talking about random hitters, making fun of Doug again about using the word "spaniels" & SUPPORT THE SPONSORS!!!
