Getting started talking about The Bachelor, Jim describes it more as a game show than anything, Charlie describes how much fun it would be to be a contestant, Charlie and Jim make Doug lose his train of thought Jim and Doug are at arms on how the Bachelor isn't about love as much, Doug misses the reference to early in the show, Doug keeps getting called a bitter old man, Jim is surprised that a callers son would want to meet him, Chapps calls in to discuss the new riverfront stadium, Charlie says he's done with the numerous reports of the Rams possible move, Willie brings up a news story he saw of how two former Bachelor's may have fallen for each other, Willie also brings up an Idiana BBQ stabbing, Jim says that puts St. Louis into a better light since there's been no BBQ stabbings on the job, Charlie can't think of a good transition to bring in Andy Benes, Andy brings up how he is from Indiana and Jim asks if he is for or against BBQ stabbings, Andy says he is startchly against it but his family might feel otherwise, Charlie tries arough transition to actually start talking about the Cardinals, Andy was a little in the dark on the Matt Adams injury, saying Reynolds was a great guy off the bench, Andy mentions how the loss of Wainright does slightly shake the mentality of the rest of the rotation, Doug brings up Michael Wacha and asks if he could fill that number one spot, Andy says Wacha is still kinda young but is proving himself more and more, Andy brings up how the Cards don't have as much trade material as they used to, Jim describes how Wainright doesn't want to feel like a distraction to the rest of the team especially while injured, Doug and Jim suck up a little to Andy, everything comes back to stabbing as the guys discuss Adny's career, the guys discuss the money in baseball and how Andy just missed big paydays, Doug ponders pooling together a little bit of money to buy a professional sports franchie, Jim brings up a stat how the Yankees are profitable before they sell a single ticket, Charlie feels a little bad about choosing the text of the day too early, the guys discuss their weekend plans and Cardinals pregame, Willie mentions how Dodgers starter Mike Bolsinger has skewed stats for away starts, Hall of Famer Dave calls in to go out for a double date with Charlie, Doug hears that as an invitation for swinging, Dave invites listeners to his fun weekend, Dave tries to pull The Cat away from family responsibilities to go to Hooters, Dave is upset because Schnucks doesn't cook food in-house and no one has an answer for him, Dave and Charlie argue how to properly pronounce Qatar while Dave provides his first hand experience with the country, Jim is more concerened with the quality of the fries at the Applebee's in Qatar.
