Show Open: Oh hey look Jennings is here today so we're a 3-man show again, The Cat was the true star of last night with his clubhouse coverage so here's an audio postcard to celebrate it, Post-Dispatch Cardinals reporter Derrick Goold checks in live from Pittsburgh, Tim is excited about the prospect of a Cardinals vs. Cubs NLDS, Doug endorses the new playoff structure with the wild-card play-in game, Jennings reports that the Cardinals will be an underdog betting wise against every NL playoff team except the Dodgers, Tim draws a metphor from the movie "Ghost" to explain how J. Boyd is in Brendan Marks' body and running around in there, Waino's outing gives Tim confidence in his ability to make an impact during the postseason, the adversity the Cardinals faced throughout the season could translate into playoff success, Jay reminds us that they did all this even in the wake of the Taveras tragedy, Jennings also believes that Matheny doesn't get the respect he deserves, Tim doesn't expect Matheny to win Manager of the Year but considering it's a regular season award he should, Jay believes that Plow Boy attending Spring Training was the key to the team's success this season, Jamie calls in to complain that the show is talking too much sports and to ask about Waino potentially making a start in Atlanta, Roger phones in to get an update on Yadi and argue with Doug about people living near the equator being lazy, Tawny chimes in to discuss the Happy Hour last night at Hotshots in Webster, Tim was impressed by how well the listeners did in the trivia contest.
