Show Open: Doug is dressed for journalism today, Tim wonders what the lead story is today, people on the Fan Page were calling out Rich from Maryland Heights in Arizona after the Cardinals lost to the Rams, the Rammies would be the #6 seed in the playoffs if the season ended today, Gurley's fourth quarter was compelling, when's the last time you saw a Rams RB break-off big runs like that, before the season you probably would've been pleased with a 2-2 record through four weeks, Doug stopped looking at the schedule because you just never know what you're going to get from this team as they often play to the competition, Plow Boy guarantees the Rams will fall short against the Packers in Green Bay, Doug likes to remind people that defense travels, Douglas also demands that the Rams continue to throw the ball down the field, Jameis Winston might be the worst QB in the league, the Cardinals didn't score a run in Atlanta and Tim is mad at himself for not shipping the under, The Cat says this weekend was a perfect storm for a lack of offense because the games didn't mean much and so many players were rested, Tim thinks Cardinals vs. Cubs would warrant the primetime slot on Friday night TV, The Cat is pulling to see the Cubs rivalry in a playoff series but he wouldn't look forward to covering playoff games at Wrigley Field, Gerrit Cole is no slouch but Tim can't see the Pirates beating Jake Arrieta in the Wildcard game on Wednesday, Tim also feels some fans don't want to face the Cubs becaues there's a legitimate chance the Cardinals lose that matchup, Wainwright should be an asset going into the playoffs and could assume a primary setup role, debating how the postseason roster will look, Tim is concerned that more "scholarships" will be granted by the Cards this postseason, Fuelsie calls in to preview the next season of Ray Donovan and to discuss the cost of playoff tickets at Busch Stadium, The Cat was disappointed in Weezer who didn't seem very excited about being asked to help Doug with a video package, The Cat reports that local media isn't scared of Lackey anymore, Doug is still upset about Seth Maness' lemming behavior with The Cat last week, Mike calls in to talk about the Blues.
