Show Open: The Cat is back after a disappointing trip to Wrigley, he didn't get a great gauge on how the players felt on the flight home because there was a bunch of extra people on the plane, Doug was alarmed by how many strikeouts the Redbird batters accumulated, Tim still thinks the turning point in the series was Jaime's mental weakness in Game 2, Tim still has some serious questions about Matheny's maneuvers during the postseason but our local broadcast hero doesn't think he's to blame for the loss, this team wasn't going to be a favorite against almost any team involved in the playoffs this year considering the players they lost along the way, Caller Ellen chimes in to ask about the Cardinals alarming number of strikeouts, #AudioFun with Roderick invading Matheny's postgame press conference, Chapps calls in to name Mabry as his fall guy but gets dumped when he brings up Back to the Future Part II, PGA Dan is next on The Appliance Discounters phone lines to share his experience of watching Game 4 with a bunch of Cubs fans, Ralph is next and brings up poker for some reason, John follows to suggest that Piscotty was almost another David Freese this series, the texters are quite dissatisfied with our callers so far this morning, another John calls in and brings up Tino Martinez for some reason, J.J. actually has a serious take on what the Cardinals should do in the offseason, Doug definitely wants more power in the lineup next season, Tim questions what older guys like Holliday and Molina will bring going forward, it's still surprising that we didn't see Tyler Lyons in this series.
