TMA Featured Interview: Kelly Chase talks Blues' successful homestand, previews road trip

Blues radio analyst Kelly Chase joined The Ryan Kelley Morning After Thursday to discuss several Blues topics ahead of the team’s game against the New York Islanders in Brooklyn, New York. Read a couple excerpts and listen to the complete interview below: On the team’s comeback win over the Canadiens: “For whatever reason, they came out and had a push in the third period. They got on top of pucks. The first two periods, they weren’t really energized. But boy did they get it going in the third period. Stastny (I don’t think gets enough credit for his competitiveness). The Blues found ways to get points at home. I can tell you, if you’re going to be a homer, be a good homer.” What do you think about the Islanders? “They’re struggling…At home they’re better. They (lost too many players in the offseason). I think they lost 130 points off their roster. They didn’t keep those guys and now they’re paying for it. I think their coach even brought it up…it kind of looked like a finger was pointed at the GM.”
