Former Missouri and Detroit Lions defensive back Demetrious Johnson joined The Press Box on Wednesday to discuss a number of topics surrounding the Tigers football team. Read a couple excerpts and listen to the interview below: On why he thought Barry Odom would struggle this year: “He’s in over his head. A good coach gets great assistants around them. Heupel was fired from Oklahoma…then he went to Utah St. What kind of resume is that?” On the main problems affecting the football team: “They don’t have a physical team, the coaching is subpar…they’re not competing. The players don’t respect that whole system. They’re not even competing.”
