I’m bringing you some #HBCU magic! On my visit to Lane College, I got to travel with, get to know and interview an actor from one of America's most iconic TV shows, A Different World; a show which helped cement Thursday night as Must See TV. Darryl M. Bell who played Ron Johnson on the show. He is also a producer and entrepreneur, and he has a point of view on all things tech, culture and business. We talked about having courageous conversations with people who may not believe or think the way we do and even about the protest methods of today versus those that happened during the Civil Rights movement. He and I headlined the Inaugural Leadership Conference at Lane College in Jackson, Tennessee this past weekend. This episode is part 1 of a double header tomorrow that also pays tribute to another HBCU grad and like Darryl and Dr. Logan Hampton, a member of Alpha Phi Alpha, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on the anniversary of his assassination.
