Jacob's Long Way Back Home, Part Three (Genesis 33)

In this episode, Dr. Sadaphal will pick up where he left off in May where he spoke about Jacob’s journey back home in Genesis 32. Recall that at this point in the biblical narrative, Jacob, his wives, and his children are heading back to Canaan. While Jacob was outside the Promised Land, the Lord multiplied him into a large family and protected him from harm, but now commands Jacob to return home. On the way, before Jacob confronts his older brother, Esau, Jacob came face to face with his Maker in the form of a wrestling match.

Jacob wrestled with God and prevailed. The question now becomes when Jacob comes face-to-face with his older brother, Esau, will he have the same success?
