January and the New Year

Happy New Year, everyone! I hope that for you 2013 was a beautiful year. This week, we welcome in the month of January, and the new year, 2014. We start off with a New Year's Prayer/Spell. Written by Silver Ravenwolf, this is a sacred meditation using an hour glass. Also, we'll look at some New Year's traditions from around the world and down the ages. Firstly, we look at the Italian folk figure of La Bafana. Also, we'll make some noise with the Scottish tradition of Hogmany.
