International Women’s Day 2021 – Part 1

This week on Womanity-Women in Unity, in recognition of International Women’s Day, which is celebrated annually on the 8th of March, today’s series takes us around the world, to hear international voices of ambassadors and high commissioners from different countries that have featured on the show. The theme for International Women’s Day this year, is Women in leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world.  In today’s compilation we hear from the Ambassador of Ireland to the Republic of South Africa, Mauritius, Botswana, Kingdom of Lesotho and Zimbabwe - Fionnuala Gilsenan;  the Ambassador of Senegal to the SADC region - Safiatou Ndiaye; and Deputy Minister of International Relations  and Co-operation - Candith Mashego Dlamini.
