Shimmering Light – Piano Instrumental Music for Prayer, Meditation, Mindfulness, Soaking Worship, Relaxation Today’s interlude is called “Shimmering Light” and makes use of the grand piano combined with shimmering, warm synth pads. I’m really enjoying experimenting with the tonic pad, which is the root and fifth note of the key held and sustained throughout the piece. This piece leaves a lot of space between the notes. I enjoy these because the spacious, atmospheric sound makes it much easier for me to calm my mind and get into a more focused state of prayer and meditation. I hope that you enjoy today’s interlude!
