Big Trust, Puppies and Pillows

Trust sounds spiritual....Until my nice pillows are chewed! ????

What does trust look like in real life?

Sometimes it looks like a brand-new puppy.

Chewed pillows.

And standing in the middle of what looks lide snow-except you live in southern Louisiana, and it's actually pillow stuffing scattered everywhere.

In this episode, we talk about trust as a practice, not a personality trait.

Not something you "have" once life feels safe-but something you return to again and again, right in the middle of uncertainty, mess and everyday moments.

We explore:

-Why trust is really about where your attention goes

-How gratitude gently calms the nervous system without pretending everything is fine

-What it means to regulate worries to the periphery instead of letting them sit at the center of your mind

-And how coming back to center-again and again-is its own form of trust

This is a quiet reflective episode, with a little bit of life humor that I seem to never escape. It is a reminder that you don't have to solve the worlds problems or your own to feel into this Trust.

We can always choose where our attention goes.

Closing idea- "I come back to center, again and again."
