Today I explain that everything we have that is good like faith or the Holy Spirit (and much else beside) we have received from the Lord. It comes from heaven above and several scriptures are given. Faith which some think originates from themselves by their "free will" also is a gift that comes to every believer. I cover many tremendous and wonderful truths which I think you'll find of great value. hashtags #humble #salvation #1cor4 #kingjamesversion #johnoverall #translators #englishtranslation...

In this video I finally capture all three of my cats together at one time. They're sleeping on my daughter's bed. While my brother visited me for three days Pompom never came out from hiding because she was afraid of my brother apparently. My brother finally came to see our home which was purchased a little over four years ago. I took him and my daughter through the city, grabbed some Rite-Aid icecream and visited a local park. A few days later my brother and I took a hike up to Oak Glen and saw...

In this video I read from a classic book, an excellent devotional by Charles Haddon Spurgeon one of England's great preachers. The text is taken from 2 Corinthians 12:9 "For my strength is made perfect in weakness." NOTE: For some reason the first 20-30 seconds of this video didn't get recorded. Basically I mentioned my three favorite devotionals books 1. Spurgeon's Morning & Evening 2. J. C. Ryles's 3. Dr. Robert A. Cook I also mentioned that I first purchased Spurgeon's devotional back around ...

In this video I compare Jesus to a stairway that leads to heaven and I mentioned other metaphors in the Bible that say Jesus is the Vine and the Door. I forgot to mention that Jesus, according to the holy scriptures the Bible, says Jesus is "The Way" not just another way. Big difference here philosophically or theologically speaking wouldn't you agree? Ok. I also describe my life as a professing Christian and that for many years I really had no fear of the Lord and so I doubted my salvation and ...

Plus I reveal a definition of success and failure that I learned from the late Jim Rohn, an inspiring speaker and master of personal development. In this video I comment on Proverbs 10:29 and how it applies to our life. Destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity. Christians are what keep the LORD from destroying the earth because we are the light of the world and the salt of the earth. Believe it or not! :Many who call themselves Christians are not true believers and so as the true believer dies off and departs to be with Jesus the earth remains full of violence and wickedness of every sort. hashtags #strength #upright #thelord #thel...

In this video on Sunday October 20, 2024 I speak about a wonderful verse we should all memorize and that is Hebrews 12:2 "Looking unto Jesus...the author and finisher of our faith." The book of Hebrews exhorts us to continue on with our profession and continue looking unto Jesus lest we apostatize and fall away. Remember Lot's wife what happened when she looked back after the angel told her not to look back. She was judged. Isaiah 45:22 "Look unto me and be ye saved all the ends of the earth." T...

Do You Have The True Riches That Matter Most?

In this video I discuss one of the first bible verses I memorized and explain some of the implications of God's omnipresence, that is, the fact that God is everywhere beholding the evil and the good. The following are some comments from the late Matthew Henry The great truths of divinity are of great use to enforce the precepts of morality, and none more than this—That the eye of God is always upon the children of men. 1. An eye to discern all, not only from which nothing can be concealed, but b...

In this video I mention meeting Les Brown, the famous inspirational/motivational speaker, in Los Angeles this past weekend AND then I explain how, in our daily lives, we can violate this commandment of having no other god's before the LORD From Matthew Henry's Commentary on the Bible 1. The first commandment concerns the object of our worship, Jehovah, and him only (v. 3): Thou shalt have no other gods before me. The Egyptians, and other neighboring nations, had many gods, the creatures of their...

In this video I cover in more detail the idea that our body is a temple wherein the Holy Spirit (God) dwells if we are a Christian, i.e. if we have been regenerated or born again or washed from above. We must not abuse ourselves in any way. 1 Corinthians 6:19 Teaches us that our body is a temple. We are sanctified vessels, that is, we are set apart from the world and set apart unto our Creator/God. Thus we belong to God and we are not our own to do our own pleasure but rather we are to do the pl...

Treat Your Body Like A Temple!

In this video I try to educate those having difficulty understanding the biblical teaching on election. I discuss TULIP in Calvinism and give an excellent reference book, (short easily read in a few hours) to educate those searching for truth. Have You Seen This Film?

In this video I touch upon the controversy of faith without works and works based on a true saving faith which I refer to as a "dynamic" faith. Many people think they only need to believe or have a faith in Jesus but scripture teaches that a person may "say he has faith" but if he has no works James asks, can that faith save him? The answer is no. It can not save him. Therefore a Christian must have good works to get into heaven. James 2:14-21 explains faith and works. God knows those that are H...

In this video I share with you the two times I met celebrity film star Charlton Heston. I was grateful to have met Mr. Heston in my hometown Stockton, CA in 1996 before I moved to Hollywood, CA to pursue an acting career. I was working a catering event for Papapovlo's and served Mr. Heston some coffee and/or wine as I recall. In 1998 I met him again at the Governor's Ball and had my picture taken with him. That was a memorable year because the film "Titanic" starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate W...

In this video, I discuss the importance of time from a chapter of the book "This Changes Everything: How The Gospel Transforms The Teen Years" by Jacquelle Crowe. I was so impressed with this author's perspective and wisdom that I had to read it again. On my second reading, I read it slower and underlined important ideas. Every teenager and even parents will gain biblical wisdom by carefully perusing the contents of this young woman's book. It is rare to find a teenager with such wisdom. Get thi...

In this video I show how rich Christians are in those riches which count most, namely, spiritual riches which are blessings. Scripture Text Read-Ephesians 1:1-14 1. We are blessed by God the Father-1:4-6 2. We are blessed by God the Son-1:7-12 3 We are blessed by God the Holy Spirit-1:13-14 God the Father chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world for a purpose (to be holy and without blame, walking before Him in love) God the Son redeemed us and through His death we have forgiveness ...
