If you have ever opened ChatGPT, stared at a blank cursor, and quietly closed the tab — this podcast is for you. Bella Vasta is a Phoenix-based AI consultant, business speaker, and single mom who has spent the last three years learning what AI can actually do for normal, busy, non-technical people. “If you have had a bad experience with AI, it is probably because you did not have a good guide.” — Bella Vasta Key takeaways If you have tried AI and it did not work, it was not because you were not smart enough. It was because you did not have someone showing you the right way — and that is exactly what this podcast fixes. The reason most people feel behind on AI is not a technology problem. It is a translation problem. Nobody has been explaining it in plain language for actual busy people with actual busy lives. When busy people start using AI in real everyday situations — dinner, doctors, school, travel — they do not just save time. They get back something that felt gone: room to think and energy to create. Bella spent years being the strainer — reading everything, testing everything, throwing away the hype, keeping only what actually works. This podcast is what she kept. Every episode is one problem, one tool, one workflow you can use tonight. Not someday. Not eventually. You will leave each episode with something you can do right now. Your first prompt — try this tonight

Episode 1 is the introduction, so there is no walkthrough prompt this week. But Bella wants you to do one thing before Episode 2 drops. Open any free AI tool — ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini — and paste this in.

I am new to using AI. I am a [describe yourself — busy parent, small business owner, someone trying to get more organized, etc.]. My biggest frustration right now is [describe one thing that is eating your time or stressing you out]. What are three specific ways AI could help me with this, and which free tool would you recommend I start with?

Paste this into ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini. All free. See what it says. That is it. That is your homework.

Full episode transcript 0:00 — Who is Bella Vasta

Hey, welcome to AI For The Busy Human. I am so excited you are here. My name is Bella Vasta, and this podcast is for every single person who has ever felt like AI is for someone else. Someone younger. Someone more technical. Someone who has more time to figure this stuff out than you do.

It is not. And I am going to spend every episode proving that to you.

I am a Phoenix-based AI consultant, business speaker, and single mom who has spent the last three years figuring out what AI can actually do for real, busy, non-technical people. And what I have figured out is a lot. Too much to keep to myself.

1:30 — Why I built this podcast

I kept getting phone calls and text messages from friends. Can you teach me this? Can you show me how this works? What do I do with this?

And I realized that the thing people needed was not another YouTube tutorial. It was not another course with 47 modules. It was a person they trusted, talking to them in plain language, about the one problem they had right now, and showing them the one thing that would fix it.

So that is what this is. Short episodes. Real problems. Real tools. No jargon. No hype. No gatekeeping.

I’ve realized that AI isn’t just about saving a little time. It’s about getting your life back — choosing to do the things that really light you up and passing off the stuff that you don’t. And that’s what this entire podcast is going to be about.

4:45 — What changed when I started using AI

So what I found was that when I started implementing AI in my business and my life, literally everything changed. Not a little bit, a lot. My workflows, the amount of people I had on my team, the types of things that I was doing — everything drastically changed.

And my clients — I started doing this with my clients and they were just sitting there on Zoom with their jaws open. I’ve saved them months of work. Not hours. Months. And thousands of dollars because they didn’t have to hire a third party to do something they could already do themselves with AI.

And here’s the part that really gets me. They tell me that they’ve had this explosion of creativity and joy and happiness, because they finally get to be in their creative self instead of drowning in the admin. Instead of drowning in those daily decisions that you need to make, where you’re already out of decision making capacity, so you just shut down or get paralyzed or procrastinate.

It allows you to create, to dream, to grow your vision, because you aren’t so bogged down anymore. That is what this is really about.

7:00 — Why I am qualified to talk about busy

Now let me tell you why I’m qualified to talk about busy. I’m a divorced single mom. I’m in my mid-forties. My daughter was born at 12 ounces back in 2014. Yes, the size of a soda can. She was what they call a micro preemie.

We spent 6 months in the NICU, which was about the same exact amount of time she was cooking in my belly. In those 6 months I was there 8 to 10 hours a day while running two companies. My marriage didn’t survive it. I went through a divorce and I went through a lot of therapy.

I’ve built businesses from survival mode. I’ve built them from ego. I’ve built them from “I’ll show you.” And now in my mid-forties, I just want to build from a different place. Things that I actually enjoy in my life. And AI is a huge part of how I get to do that.

9:30 — My daughter and AI

My daughter is 11. Her name is Olivia, and she has created more stories using AI than I can count. She’s on like season 23 of these character development, plot development arcs. She’s created graphics and images from her imagination. She’s got 9 of these characters hanging above her bed right now — printed on MixTiles. She’s created music, she’s created videos.

I’ve guided her, but she’s doing it. And she’ll sit in her room for over an hour. This is an autistic ADHD kid. And she just goes for it. And the things that she creates are absolutely amazing. AI is not just for one type of person, and I really want to drive that home.

11:30 — The strainer metaphor

Sometimes I call myself the strainer. You know when you’re making pasta and you drain it in the sink. You want to keep all the good stuff — the pasta that’s going to nourish you — and throw away the water and the extra stuff you don’t need.

That’s what I do. I read everything, I test everything, I keep up on all of it, and then I strain it down for you. I keep the good stuff — the stuff that’s actually going to help you — and I throw away all the noise, the hype, the stuff that doesn’t matter. I get to know you, I understand your problems deeply, and then I match what I know about AI to what you need, and we solve it together.

13:00 — Who this podcast is for

This is for the single mom listening in her car between drop off and work, wondering how she’s gonna fit in everything today. This is for the middle-aged single guy who just wants to understand AI but doesn’t want to look stupid asking basic questions. This is for the busy mom who’s the glue holding the family together — managing the dog, the cat, the kids, the husband, the extracurricular activities, the holidays, the shopping, all of it.

This is for the 20 year old and the 30-year-old who just wants to weave AI into their life in a way that actually makes sense. And this is for the boomers — the 65, 70, 75 year olds who are excited to learn new things. I know how to break this down so it makes sense.

This is also for you if you’re just a parent who wants to lead your kids in this AI world but has no idea where to start. I’m going to be your secret weapon.

14:30 — How this podcast works

Every episode is going to be about 10 to 15 minutes — bite size. You can listen on your commute, while you’re folding laundry, in the carpool line, or at the gym. I’m going to pick one problem, one thing that’s making your life harder than it needs to be, and show you how to fix it using AI.

I’m going to talk to you like a real person. No jargon, no tech speak, just me showing you what to do and how to do it.

I believe that AI is the biggest opportunity regular busy humans have had in our lifetime to actually get ahead without burning out. I believe that if you’ve tried AI and it didn’t work, it wasn’t because you weren’t smart enough — it was just because you didn’t have someone showing you the right way. And I believe that you deserve to have your time back.

Starting in the next episode, we’re diving in. Real problems. Real solutions. Things you can implement immediately.

I’m Bella Vasta and I help busy humans like you use AI to save time, money, and stress. I’m really glad you’re here. Until next time.
