About

Conversations with Stephen Kamugasa

The only voice turning a refugee’s journey into a covenant for principled leadership and stewardship.

Welcome to Conversations with Stephen Kamugasa—a bimonthly podcast devoted to the vital intersections of humanity, leadership, and citizenship in a world of mounting complexity.

This platform is crafted for leaders, policymakers, academics, practitioners, and engaged citizens alike—a gathering place for those who choose to think and to thank, who seek to confront our shared challenges and discern coherent, actionable solutions.

The Vision & Mission

We live in a transformative era defined by rapid technological advances, geopolitical realignments, and pressing environmental and social crises. Navigating these shifts requires more than surface‑level headlines; it demands deep, nuanced discourse.

Conversations with Stephen Kamugasa—already listened to in sixty‑eight countries and ranked among the top one per cent of global podcasts—was founded to bridge the gap between abstract theory and real‑world impact. Its expanding reach testifies to a growing hunger for rigorous dialogue with world‑leading experts, advocates, thinkers, and changemakers. The show seeks to:

  •  Examine Leadership: Questioning conventional power structures, exploring ethical decision‑making, and fostering leadership that thrives on accountability, whistleblowing, and integrity.
  • Reimagine Citizenship: Investigating what it means to be an active, responsible citizen in a multipolar world—from defending human rights and reforming civil society to rebuilding local communities.
  •  Protect Humanity & Our Shared Planet: Addressing urgent global imperatives, including climate leadership, wildlife conservation, media integrity in the AI era, and historic justice.
