I recently got to spend a few days with Sandflea in Guatemala fishing for billfish and then we headed to his hometown in Mexico for a few days of tarpon fishing. He is just a wonderful guy to spend a week with and I thought it would be a lot of fun for you to get to know him a little bit. I get asked fairly often what is the difference between conventional tackle and fly fishing. I've done quite a bit of both, and I think it comes down to where each places their priority on efficiency vs aesthetics.
