We know that just as it is true of our biological family, God’s family is not a perfect family. Just because you are a Christian does not mean that you can’t blow it big time. Sometimes, we allow life or people or things to get the best of us. The devil would love nothing more than to cause us to become overwhelmed with the guilt of our moral failures.
But the good news is that we can always come back to God. We can always repent and move forward with the Lord. That is the basis of the parable of the prodigal son that Jesus taught. Furthermore, Jesus says, all of heaven rejoices when a sinner repents and returns to God. Duration 14:25
