We can’t see God. We trust Him by trusting His Word. Sometimes, what God says to us through His Word will defy all human logic. If everything He says to us must make sense to us before we act, we can't effectively live the Christian life.
It is not unusual for God to challenge us to trust Him in areas where we think we don’t need His input. The church is filled with people who chose to trust themselves and their own ability instead of the Word of God. That kind of mindset is a disaster waiting to happen.
Evangelist Frank King says that one reason believers don’t succeed in reaching a goal in life is that they trust their own ability more than they trust the Word of God. Duration 12:16
