Alex Cooney, CEO of CyberSafeKids, the national organisation dedicated to protecting children and young people online. CyberSafeKids has issued a stark warning calling for the urgent and total ban of so-called “nudify,” “pornify,” and AI girlfriend apps, which they say have no legitimate purpose and pose serious and irreparable harm to children.  The organisation has also announced it is leaving the platform X, citing recent failures around AI-generated sexualised content involving women and minors.Alex joins us now to explain why CyberSafeKids believes regulation has failed, what must change immediately, and what parents and policymakers need to understand about the risks children are facing today.

Galway Cathedrals upcoming Novena

Galway Cathedral is preparing to host one of its most significant annual events — the Novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Help, now in its 42nd year.
