'Darkness into Light’ is a an annual event of 5km walk/run, starting at 4.15am, and crossing the line just as dawn is breaking and it will celebrate its eighth year on Saturday, May 7th 2016, with over 100 venues across Ireland and beyond lined up. The event is in aid of Pieta House, a centre for the prevention of self-harm or suicide . Joan Freeman, founder and CEO of Pieta House speaks to Wendy about the event.
