Ion Lazarenco Tiron – “Ocean’s Seven” Challenge

“Ocean’s Seven” consists of seven long-distance open swims.  It is considered the ultimate challenge for marathon swimmers.  Wicklow-based swimmer Ion Lazarenco Tiron has completed five of the seven.  Last month he added the Catalina Channel and the Moloka’i Channel in quick succession to the three he had already done – the English Channel, the North Channel and the Strait of Gibraltar.
