“As nightfall descends across the streets, homes and workplaces of Limerick, a pulsing conversation begins. Though they may never meet, strangers speak to each other across the night. They speak of love and laughter, of joy and loss and hope. Together they remember their past and dream of an imagined future.”
Wendy Grace speaks to writer Tom Swift about his site-specific theatre production Beautiful Dreamers, set to be one of the standout events of Limerick 2014 – Ireland’s first national City of Culture.
The play is a conversation with the city of Limerick. It paints a broad picture of different lives and intimate and personal stories, some funny, some sad.
Beautiful Dreamers takes place between 27th November and 7th December, and is unlike any production you’re likely to have seen. What part will you play?
