Dr Pat Fagan - benefits of stable marriage and religious practice

Dr Pat Fagan, Director of the Marriage & Religion Research Institute in Washington DC, who is originally from Dublin, has been analysing US federal survey data for many years.

He has found that stable marriages and regular worship lead to families with higher levels of happiness, mental health and general well being and educational attainment, and reduced levels of poverty, crime, abuse, and drug addiction.

He spoke to Wendy Grace about the findings of his research.
